NEW ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY SUPPORT COMMUNITY CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING
The Cabana at Jensen Dunes – an all-rental community offering quality, affordable assisted living and memory support – celebrated its grand opening on August 11.
The Cabana at Jensen Dunes prides itself on being a different type of assisted living community, featuring amenities such as a pool and outdoor grill, upscale salon, hotel-style lobby, state-of-the-art fitness center, putting green, cocktail bar, art studio, and game center. The community creates a positive culture that provides opportunities for residents to pursue their passions and interests – despite the challenges that aging may bring.
The community takes a holistic, mind-body-spirit approach designed to address its philosophy called the “Six Keys to Living Well” by supporting social, financial, spiritual, physical, mental/intellectual and emotional health.
“Our goal is to create a caring culture and stimulating environment with opportunities for growth, development and enrichment for all of our residents,” said Deniese Williams, Executive Director. “The Cabana takes a different approach to senior living and features amenities one wouldn’t usually find in an assisted living facility.”
Comprising 73 assisted living residences and 53 secure memory support residences, the 105,000-sq.-ft. facility offers a variety of floor plans ranging from a 360-sq.-ft. studio to a 770-sq.-ft. two-bedroom, two-bath. Spacious residences, which are available for double occupancy, have high ceilings and lots of natural light. The community provides on-site rehabilitation – including physical, speech and occupational therapy – as well as doctor’s offices with exam rooms for private visits with physicians.
