The Cabana at Jensen Dunes Names Executive Director

The Cabana at Jensen Dunes – an all-rental community offering quality, affordable assisted living and memory support – recently named Deniese Williams RN MSN NHA as its executive director.

“We are thrilled to welcome Deniese to our team,” said Catherine Ferguson, Regional VP. “Her knowledge of the healthcare industry and experience in senior living makes her an asset not only in the opening of The Cabana, but also as our community expands.”

Williams has over two decades of long-term care experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Jensen Dunes, she served as the director of nursing at multiple facilities throughout Florida and held the title of nursing home administrator at a community in Pompano Beach.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from South University in Georgia, Williams completed her Masters in nursing at the University of Cincinnati.

“I feel fortunate to help lead a community that believes in a holistic, mind-body-spirit philosophy of empowerment and support in life’s later years,” said Williams. “Our focus on growth and personal development for each member is what differentiates The Cabana at Jensen Dunes from other typical assisted living facilities.”

Opening in summer 2016, The Cabana at Jensen Dunes is the first stage of an innovative and comprehensive senior living concept that will span 37 acres. Expansion plans for a larger independent living campus with state-of-the-art memory support facilities are already in development. Upon completion, the community will be called Jensen Dunes.
